Good evening, CHASE Middle families! This is Jennifer McBrayer, principal of CHASE Middle School.
Tomorrow at 5:30 p.m., we will hold a family meeting in the CHASE Middle gym to provide families with information, support, and resources following recent events. Dr. David Sutton and law enforcement representatives will join me. Please see tonight’s post for more information about the meeting.
The first quarter ends Thursday. There will be no school Friday or the following Monday. We hope our students and families enjoy a safe and restful fall break. Report cards will be available online through Infinite Campus on October 15.

⚓ Reminders & Important Information
👨👩👧👦 Family Meeting
Families are invited to attend a meeting on Monday, October 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the CHASE Middle School gym.
The meeting will provide families with information, support, and resources following recent events. It will focus on:

Supporting our students

Maintaining instruction and school routines

Explaining how families can seek assistance or report concerns

Reviewing information that has been publicly released
Superintendent Dr. David Sutton and law enforcement representatives will join Mrs. McBrayer. We will share the information we are permitted to discuss while respecting confidentiality requirements and the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
Submitting Questions
Questions will not be taken from the floor during the meeting. Families may submit questions digitally or on paper, and the appropriate person will follow up by phone afterward.
This structure will allow each concern to receive careful attention while keeping the meeting focused on student needs and within the limits of what can be discussed publicly.

Our goal is to keep the meeting calm, focused, and productive, with the needs of our students at the center of the conversation.
📚 First Quarter Ends Thursday
The first quarter ends Thursday, October 8. Please review your student’s current grades in Canvas and contact their teachers with any questions or concerns.

First-quarter report cards will be available online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on Thursday, October 15.
Parents and guardians should make sure they have an active account before report cards become available.
