We look forward to returning on Tuesday as we approach the end the school year! There are approximately three weeks remaining until EOG Testing.
Chase Middle School has some important news about your child's health:
Our school has arranged for Smile North Carolina to provide your child with dental care right at our school. It will be on Tuesday May 6th. Best of all, there may be no cost to you if your child is on Medicaid or NC Health Choice for Children. Permission forms were sent home with report cards. By having your child seen by the dentist at school, you can keep them healthy, in school, and learning. Plus, it's easy and convenient for you. Simply fill out and sign the permission form and return it to the school with your child or go to www.myschooldentist.com.
As your student prepares to enter 7th grade. North Carolina Law requires students entering 7th grade to have one dose of Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccine and one dose of Meningococcal Vaccine if they have not already received those vaccines. If your child has not had these vaccines they were given a letter with their report card on Thursday prior to Spring break. If you have any questions, you can call and speak with Nurse Cogdill at Chase Middle School.
We invite you to join us on April 29th for Open House from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm. Free Sports Physicals will also take place on that day from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm.
