Spring Pictures - Tuesday - April 27th
Spring pictures will be made by Carolina Photography Tuesday morning. Order forms were sent home with students onThursday 4/22.
A picture of the order form can be seen below. Order forms can be picked up from the school office as well.
Only students with an online order or order form in hand will have their picture made. Remote students that wish to have their picture made need to be at school by 9:00. The photographer will be leaving as soon as they have finished taking all the pictures of students with orders.

8th Grade Girls Tryout for Chase High Cheerleading – this week at Chase High
Tryout for CHASE Cheerleading for the 2021/2022 season will be held this week. Friday, April 23rd was the last day to turn in applications. Practice will be Monday - Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30. Tryouts will be held on Friday, April 30th from 3:30 - until.

Chase Middle Pirate Council (PTO) Little Caesars Pizza Fundraiser continues through May 3rd
We are excited to now officially have our Pirate Council organized and supporting our students and teachers. Please support this opportunity!

All online sales, no money has to be collected in person
Orders will come to Chase Middle the week of May 17th-they will give us an exact date closer to the time for delivery.
We will receive the delivery and then separate and pass out to families through a pick-up line on the date of delivery.

Book Fair – MONDAY – last day!
The book fair has arrived!!! Thank you for all your support last week. Monday will be the last day for students to purchase items.
5th Grading period Report Card & Summer School – June 1st – July 13th
Report cards will be mailed to ALL parents on, Monday, April 19th. If you did not receive your child’s report card please contact the school this week. There is a summer school informational letter from our county office included with all students report cards.
Wednesday, Remote for All Students and Other Reminders
-EVERY Wednesday is a remote learning day for ALL students. All students should have assignments to complete every Wednesday for all courses.
-Wednesday’s also is a REQUIRED Course Recovery attending school day for students who are Full Time Remote and not passing 1 or more core class for the school year. This is from 8am – 3pm. Parents must provide transportation to and from school. You can have your remote student log-in to their Canvas account and see if they are passing Math, ELA, Science, or Social Studies for every grading period. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
CMS NEXT SPORTS SEASON INFORMATION – season begins April 12th
Wrestling - players still needed
Practice will be immediately after school till 4:30. Wrestlers please bring workout clothes, tennis shoes and wrestling shoes if you have them. We are still in need of approximately 12 wrestlers. We encourage our students to come out and give wrestling a try. It is both an exciting individual and team sport!

Sports Game – Grade Level Free Admission Dates
We encourage all our students to stay as much as possible after school to support our teams. We will have free admission for the following grade level students for these dates:
6th grade – Wednesday, April 28th – Soccer and Wrestling vs Shelby (game usually finished by 5:45pm.
7th grade - Tues., May 4th – Baseball vs East Middle and Softball vs East Middle (game usually finished by 6:00pm) – Note: Softball games are played at Chase HIGH school. Any student attending softball game will receive transportation to Chase High but parents must pick their child up AT CHASE High softball field at end of game.
8th grade – Tues.,May 6th – Baseball vs Burns Middle and Softball vs Burns Middle (game usually finished by 6:00pm) – Note: Softball games are played at Chase HIGH school. Any student attending softball game will receive transportation to Chase High but parents must pick their child up AT CHASE High softball field at end of game.
8th grade – Mon.,May 10th – Soccer vs RS Middle and Wrestling vs RS Middle (game usually finished by 5:45pm)
Concessions will be sold and admission will be $5 for adults and students not admitted free on their assigned date..
Breakfast, Lunch, and outside food deliveries:
No charge for student breakfast and lunch. Upon arrival and completion of required health screening, students will report directly to their first period of the day. A grab-and-go breakfast opportunity will be given to students on the way to their classrooms. Meals will be eaten in classrooms and not in the cafeteria. The menu for Tuesday is pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, and milk. We can not accept any food deliveries from outside of the school. Please make sure to tell any family members who have typically brought or sent food to schools during lunch period.
WORK DEADLINES for Hybird Students (attend 4 days each week)
Now that hybrid students are attending school 4 days each week these students should be able to submit assignments daily. Most teachers will have daily assignments to complete or require assignments to be submitted on the last day students attend each week. Contact individual teachers for their procedures. Parents please have your student pull up all work assignments in their Canvas account before this Tuesday, March 30th to ensure all work has been submitted.
WORK DEADLINES for Remote all students
Due to some students having limited internet connectivity, remote students will have submission deadlines at 11:59pm each Sunday evening. New work for the next week will still be available by 4pm on Friday afternoons
Chase Middle Yearbook – LAST CHANCE TO SAVE $ - purchase online
Due to the spring sports being later in the year we will have a summer delivery date for our yearbook. Save money and purchase your child’s yearbook online for $35 per book (after tax and fees). The online sales will end on 5/7/21. The web page is www.carolinaphoto.net (Links to an external site.) click on order picture/yearbooks at the top right and then scroll down and click on yearbook orders and then just follow on screen instructions. Enter school code 93210. Deadline to save $5 is 5/7/21. We will have a limited amount available for purchase at school for $40 each during the summer.
