ALL Remote Learning for Students & New Assignments Posted

All your child’s teachers have scheduled online zoom meetings every day this week for all your child’s classes (except on Wednesday).  Teachers have their zoom meeting links on their class page. Here is a schedule for meeting times this week.  There are schedules for the 3 teacher and 4 core teacher teams.  You child should know which schedule they are following.

More information is posted on our School Homepage under the News section and also available below:

Hybrid and Remote Format Changes

Below are schedules for students divided up by grade level, the number of teachers on their team, and A or B day. Beginning January 19th we have made several changes.  The difference for our second semester will be a change in the number of classes students attend each day. Students will see all of their core teachers each day that they attend school. This change is reflected in the schedule below.

For our Remote students, they will continue to Zoom with their teachers but will now have the opportunity to Zoom with them two days a week following the A or B schedule.

If you have any questions please call the school or reach out through Canvas.

Thank you

Course Recovery and Opportunities for Students failing 3 or more courses for this year

Our district promotion policy requires students to pass 3 out of their core classes (Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies) for the school year to be promoted to the next grade level.  Letters were mailed home and included with student report cards for students in danger of not being promoted.  If your child received this letter please sign and send the copy to school with your child on Tuesday or Thursday (if they are a hybrid student).  If your child is remote you can mail or bring in by school this week.

This week parents will be receiving a call to give options for ways we can assist your child to work on their current assignments and complete additional assignments to cover material they have not passed so far this year.  Please contact the school if you have not received a call by Wednesday.

Sports Reminders

With Boys and Girls basketball now playing we wanted to remind parents and our community of the restrictions and guidelines for spectators.  Currently our State guidelines limit indoor sports events for middle and high to a maximum of 25 spectators.  Parents will not be allowed to travel to away events and the all tickets will only be provided to parents of athletes for home games.  Coaches will share information with their players and parents of tickets and assigned games for parents. We certainly would like to have more people attend, however, we must adhere to these guidelines to be able to play.  Thank you for your understanding.

Football and Boys Soccer Academic Eligibility and Workouts

Students interested in playing Football and Boys Soccer will need to make sure they are passing 5 out of 6 of their classes for the 4th grading period which ends February 19th.  Please make sure your child is staying caught up and passing their classes. Mid term reports will be sent home the week of February 1st (see upcoming dates for more info)

Any student interested in playing soccer or football is reminded of workouts this week.
