NOTE: ALL TRADITIONAL RUTHERFORD COUNTY ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS STUDENTS WILL BE IN REMOTE LEARNING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF SCHOOL IN JANUARY (1/6-1/15)
ALL Remote Learning for Students & New Assignments Posted
Students begin completing assignments and ALL STUDENTS begin attending ALL Remote classes this Wednesday, January 6th.
For the first week of January 6th through the 8th, assignments will be posted by January 6th at 8:00 am. Please go on to the your student Canvas Announcement Page or our School Homepage to view videos for more details for the daily schedule, daily zoom meetings with teachers, and other supports during this time. Links and information is posted here also:
Below you will find presentations going over important information and strategies for our Remote Learning period as well as schedules. Tools to remind and assist students with using Zoom will be sent out at the beginning of next week.
ATHLETICS: All athletic practices and games are still on regular schedule during this time period.
Girls Basketball Tryouts (NEW DATE)
– Students, there information and sign-ups for girls basketball on your Canvas Announcement Page. Contact –girls coach – Sam Owens for any questions. We will have tryouts for girls the first week back after Christmas break.. Eligibility will be based on the 3rd six weeks report card ending on December 22nd. Please note all athletes must be passing 5 out of 6 classes to be eligible to play a sport.

- Thurs., Jan. 7th – Girls Basketball Tryouts for 7th graders – 3:00-5:00pm

Board of Education Calendar Survey for next school year
Rutherford County Schools is conducting a survey to gather input about the 2021-2022 school calendar. Due to state calendar law changes, the 2021-2022 Balanced Calendar adopted by the Rutherford County Board of Education in March, 2020, must be revised to comply with new calendar requirements.
The Board values stakeholder feedback. Please provide your feedback by completing the survey linked below by 11:59 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. The Board will use the survey results, along with other information, to inform calendar development for the upcoming school year.
