NOTE: ALL TRADITIONAL RUTHERFORD COUNTY ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS STUDENTS WILL BE IN REMOTE LEARNING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF SCHOOL IN JANUARY (1/6-1/15)

ATHLETICS: All athletic practices and games are still on regular schedule during this time period.
End of 3rd grading Period and work deadlines – Sun. 12/20
With the last student day schedule for the 3rd six week grading period being Tuesday, Dec. 22nd we can NOT accept any late work. Please make every effort to have you student submit work for this next week before Sunday, December 20th. Assignments posted and completed for December 21st and 22nd will count towards the 4th grading period. Thank you for your assistance.
“12 Days of Christmas” Daily activities
Students and Staff, let’s have some fun over the next 2 days and participate in our daily activity. This is open to everyone both hybrid and remote. We all need to take a moment from our current stressors to have some fun! See each daily event posted on Student news this week.
Girls Basketball Tryouts (NEW DATE)
– Students, there information and sign-ups for girls basketball on your Canvas Announcement Page. Contact –girls coach – Sam Owens for any questions. We will have tryouts for girls the first week back after Christmas break.. Eligibility will be based on the 3rd six weeks report card ending on December 22nd. Please note all athletes must be passing 5 out of 6 classes to be eligible to play a sport.

- Thurs., Jan. 7th – Girls Basketball Tryouts for 7th graders – 3:00-5:00pm

WEDNESDAY (12/16- 1/5 –No school for students – Christmas Holiday Break!)
Christmas Break and New Assignments Posted
Christmas Break – December 23rd – January 5th. Students begin completing assignments and ALL STUDENTS begin attending ALL Remote classes on Wednesday, January 6th.
For the first week of January 6th through the 8th, assignments will be posted by January 6th at 8:00 am.
For the second week of Remote learning, the assignments will be posted by January 8th at 4:00 pm.
CMS Remote Learning Presentations
Parents and Students, All students will be taking part in Remote Learning from January 6th to January 15th. Below you will find presentations going over important information and strategies for our Remote Learning period as well as schedules. Tools to remind and assist students with using Zoom will be sent out at the beginning of next week.
