Chase Middle Sports Season and Free Physicals - Updates

We are excited to share our news for middle school sports beginning November 4th!  Our first 3 sports will be cross country for girls and boys; girls volleyball; and girls and boys golf. Sign-up, tryouts, and other information is on the student Canvas announcement page.

Golf:

We have a County Middle School team with combined players from all three schools.  Golf workouts will be held on Thursday/Friday, October 29th and 30th at the Forest City Golf Course at 4:00 pm.  Parents will need to provide transportation to and from the golf course for tryouts, practices, and matches.  Please contact Terry Osteen at Forest City Golf Course 828-248-5222.

Girls Volleyball Tryouts:

8th Grade will be November 4th from 3:30-5

7th Grade will be November 5th from 3:30-5

6th Grade will be November 6th from 3:30-5

You must have a physical on file before you are able to try out!

Boys and Girls Cross Country:

Cross Country tryouts will be held on November 4th from 3:15-4:15pm.  Report to the gym and follow directions where to go to begin.  All participants must have a current physical on file to try out or qualify for the team. Physical forms are available in the front office.

All students participating in a sport this year must have a current physical (7th and 8th graders can use a physical if it was completed March 2019 or after).  All 6th graders must get a physical to tryout or participate in sports this school year.

If you missed the free physical date for your child you may go to Forest City Walk-In Clinic behind the mall anytime this month of October to receive a free physical.  You will need to come by the school to get the correct physical packet to take with you to the Walk-in Clinic.  If you have any questions please call the school.
