Chase Middle Student and Parent News – June 8th – 12th

Chase Middle Yearbooks Have Arrived at School!!!

We are excited to announce we have received our copies of the 2020 Chase Middle Yearbook!

Because the plant started printing the covers at the end of February we had to place our order number with Jostens at that time.  We did order 125 extra copies in addition to the ones that had already been purchased. Those students who already paid can pick their copy up on their iPad drop-off day next week. These extra yearbooks are available for $44 each until we sell out.

If you have any questions contact Mr Norville  ( ).

Remote Learning Assignments and Deadlines

All remote assignments from March 16th through May 29th that students want graded must be turned in to their teacher by 8:00AM on Monday, June 1st.  According to State and local remote learning guidelines students can improve their performance and grades through these remote learning assignments.  A huge “thank you” to our parents and students for staying involved and engaged in learning!

iPad Collection Days and 8th grade Celebration

Please mark your calendar for our iPad collection days. We will be collecting iPads at the front of the school. We will have 3 stations where staff will come to your vehicle's window to collect your iPad. Collection times will be from 12noon through 6pm each day. We will go alphabetically by last name each day. This will help us limit the number of people at the school at one time. If you need to come earlier or later than your last name slot on your day that is fine. If you have multiple students in different grade levels than either day will be fine to drop off their devices. Prior to arriving at the school for drop-off, please power on your assigned iPad and be sure to have your assigned charger ready to return also.

Monday, June 8th - 6th grade (12noon - 6pm)

Last name begins with: A-H 12-2pm

I-P 2-4pm

Q-Z 4-6pm.

Tuesday, June 9th - 7th grade (12noon - 6pm)

8th grade drive-through celebration

On Wednesday, June 10th, 8th grade parents are invited to bring your child through the front drop off area. After turning in their iPad 8th grade students need to follow the signs through the faculty parking area to receive a gift and see their teachers. We hope all our 8th graders can make arrangements to come by school on June 10th from 12 noon until 6pm. Check our facebook page and canvas announcements for more information.

Remote Learning Student Survey

We are nearing the end of our school year, and we are so proud of the hard work that our students have done all year, and particularly during remote learning. We want to hear from our students about the things that worked well during remote instruction and the things that could be improved upon. Students, please take the time to complete our Remote Learning Survey before turning in your devices, if possible. You can access the survey through Canvas or the Rutherford County Schools website at Parents, please assist your younger children with completing the survey. Also, parents, we want to hear from you as well. In the coming week, we will send information about a Remote Learning Survey for Parents.
